This role involves planning and scheduling of tests providing assurance that infrastructure and platforms confirm to documented standards and acceptance in service checklists under the guidance of the TACO (Test and Cut-over Manager). SAN 24x7 Front Line Storage Administrator consists of the following duties.Maintaining a 24/7 BAU response for all customers on multiply SAN environments. The Modis Service Desk was setup to give experience and expertise to the Service Desk. Modis Analysts are responsible for managing their own workload of calls assigned to them. Modis Analysts ensure that all calls that could be fixed remotely are resolved either by advising the Service Desk accordingly or undertaking the work themselves if required.

Main duty on this contract was to deliver first line support to the Transport For London end users. While also being in direct contact with the users, Analysts were also responsible for liaising with Service Delivery Managers, support teams and VIP customers. All aspects of this delivery were guided by ensuring that all calls are fixed within the Service Level Agreement.
