I started offshore North Sea in 1988 as a roustabout and worked my way up to Asst Driller before switching careers and becoming an RSTC for Transocean. I was then hired by BG Group as an offshore HSE Advisor and worked in Tunisia. I then became the Team Leader for HSE in the office. The next move was relocating to Cairo, Egypt as the Drilling HSE Manager for the BG Well Engineering Department. At the end of that contract I moved to Dana Gas in Cairo as Drilling HSE Manager until the end of that contract. I then worked for Energean in Greece for four years.I have a strong drilling and HSE background and a wide range of experience in all aspects of drilling, both offshore and onshore.Presently I work at Spooner's in Ilkley, UK as the HSE Manager.
