I worked as an independent contractor at DC WASA's Blue Plains Advanced Waste Water Treatment Plant. I worked two different contracts at different times. The first was from April 2004-July 2004 and the second contract was from January-May 2007. Primary duties were instrument PM's and calibrations and installations of network cables for Limit Torque Fieldbus valves

Jacksonville Brewery, Jacksonville, Fl

I started as a weekender, in this role I worked on weekends and holidays while working full time at a paper mill and a power plant. My role was in the brew house and utilities area of the brewery. I received OSHA training in ammonia refrigeration procedures, rebuilt valves, and maintained boilers and refrigeration equipment. I also worked in the brew house calibrating temperature, flow and pressure instrumentation. I received training on SAP and also Honeywell documenting calibration software. I worked in the lager cellars and finished beer areas as well as grain silos, and spent grain loading.

I learned a lot about electrical and instrumentation at this mill. I received training at Honeywell and Reliance Drives. I also received training on Modicon PLC's. And I worked with good people at this site.I worked in the Recovery/Power areas, Kraft Paper Machines, Tissues Paper Machines, Pulp Mill and Bleach Plant. I also worked as a supervisor and a planner at this site. The planning work was primarily on control valves and new installations on paper machines.
