 Designed new Rx store order-point, order-level replenishment for slow moving Rx items with lumpy demand patterns. It incorporates Rx script forecast and Rx script size.  Leading the design of 340B allocation logic. 340B is a government program where Walgreens dispenses Rx scripts to patients for free and the government reimburses by backfilling the inventory dispenses. Led design of Rx store replenishment system (ESLM). ESLM has been implemented chain wide resulting in multi millions reduction in Rx brand store inventory.  Analyzed data showing that higher volume stores had lower in-stock percentage for self-serve item. Explained why this occurred to management and recommended way to improve and level the in-stock percentage per store. Authored a DC Productivity and DC Employee turnover analysis of individuals with and without Disability. This assignment came from Walgreens senior vice president of supply chain and logistics Randy Lewis.  Developed DC replenishment system designed to level load the replenishment orders placed on suppliers of Rx Brand Items. The system was tested in a live pilot reducing Rx Brand inventory by 2.5 DOS.  DEA mandated suspicious orders of controlled to be identification and suspending. Designed system to identify such orders while reduce the order quantity to tolerance.  Designed and developed SKU Rationalization tool to aid Rx sourcing strategy. Designed and built tool identifying pilot and control stores with highly correlated weekly sales pattern. Application used to select pilot/control stores pairs to test various initiatives.

 Lead development of application software in forecasting and inventory management for International Truck and Engine Co vendor managed inventory (VMI) program. Responsibilities included system requirements, directing/coaching others, testing, documentation, and interfacing with International’s business and IS teams. The goal is to improve inventory performance for their dealer network.

Supply Chain Management Led analysis of product demand, inventory requirements and cost of labor for customizing radio products in distribution centers, resulting in labor cost savings of $1M-$3M per year. Implemented forecasting and inventory replenishment software for the Asia Parts Distribution Center, enabling facility to improve service level from 87% to 95% and inventory turns from 5.5 to 8.6 on 8K Stock Keeping Units and $20M in demand. Determined inventory levels to support distribution center operations. Acted as Program Manager for transferring manufacturing of major radio product family to Brazil, achieving both project and production startup goals.Strategic Planning Supported strategic plan of global radio manufacturing including analysis and recommendations for asset utilization, process improvements, NAFTA/EU content requirements, new product introductions and plant consolidation, resulting in efficient and effective action planning by management team. Led analysis to consolidate worldwide manufacturing of radio product line into one low cost manufacturing location, resulting in a reduction of operating costs by $4M over 3 years.
