For as long as I can remember I have created things. Mud sculptures as a child. Projected light drawings in galleries during grad school. Digital interface designs for companies such as Disney Imagineering. I wake up each morning to a world that beckons for more to be created.Today, I work with other gifted artists in the field of custom 3D props for trade shows, museums, and the hospitality industry. As a Project Manager I take my clients’ concepts and work within our network of fabrication shops bring them to reality. Marketing concepts such as a thirteen-foot-tall sugar shaker to illustrate the effects of a diabetes drug, and a six-foot-tall swinging Svedka bottle. The synergy created during these projects always makes for an exciting day.In early 2018 I also began marketing/graphics work for a small medical device company ColoWrap. Interviews I conducted with gastroenterologist and nurses helped us develop marketing personas. Understanding the challenges those professionals face also guided me in the creation of visuals to best explain our product’s benefits. At trade shows it has been rewarding to see those graphical efforts catch the eye of attendees; holding them for that moment it takes to make contact. In over a decade and a half I have not only honed my graphic talents, but leadership skills as well. Colleagues would say my leadership style is to give people tools and encouragement, and to believe in their potential to get the job done.
