After a 30 year career in Public Accounting, Wayne has taken his passion for PEOPLE and and the challenges around professional workforce deployment and devoted his (semi) retirement to solving the workforce dilemma perpetually faced by accounting firms. Through the Rockstar team at Makosi, Wayne helps firms identify, train, deploy and manage variable workforce solutions to accounting firms of all sizes. Wayne joined Grant Thornton as a Supervising Senior in October 1995 with the merger of Grant Thornton’s Philadelphia office and AG Epstein Company, a local accounting firm based in Jenkintown, PA. He was promoted to Manager in 1996, Senior Manager in 1998, and Partner in 2000. In 2002, Wayne became the Audit Practice Leader for the Philadelphia office. Effective August 2011, Wayne became the Philadelphia Office Managing Partner and in August 2014 he moved into a market and client-facing role as Partner-in-Charge of Markets, Industries and Clients for the region. In 2015, Wayne assumed the role of Atlantic Coast Market Territory Industry Leader for Consumer and Industrial Products.Wayne has over 30 years of professional experience. Client responsibilities included SEC and non-SEC clients in the Consumer and Industrial Products (CIP) and Services industries. Wayne served many of the Philadelphia office’s most prestigious clients.Specialties: Wayne has historically and consistently assisted dynamic organizations to help unlock their potential for growth by providing distinctive client service in the areas of audit, tax and advisory.
