Lead the joint SE and SDI Growth Sectors Marketing Team focussing on attracting Inward Investment to Scotland, Increasing exports and trade from Scotland to the rest of the world and growing Scotlands growth sectors. 2008 to 2012 Lead the Scottish Enterprise Marketing team of ten with budget responsibility of around £1m. Areas of responsibility included Marketing strategy, Brand and Corporate Marketing Communications activity focussed on our three target audiences; Growing Businesses, Stakeholders and Partners, (including Industry bodies) and Government and influencers (media). This involved working regionally, nationally and internationally, building our Brand and driving customer acquisition and retention. Most notable successes include delivering a 25% increase in brand awareness and a record number of new customer enquiries whilst also delivering significant efficiencies and budget savings.
