I am a business intelligence and information management expert with ten years of experience taking companies to the next level using advanced data analytics and statistical modelling.As part of Advantage Finance, I have successfully optimised data by streamlining information to improve business processes and profits strategically. My advanced analytical skills and ability to forecast and improve the bottom line based on current trends are advantageous to any company looking to leverage data to make informed decisions. As a Director of Business Intelligence, I am a regulated SMF3 Executive Director with a Board seat. I built the BI department from the ground up, including hiring and training seven team members. One of my proudest accomplishments is leading the development of an ambitious auditable framework of more than 3,300 characteristics covering all business areas, including existing credit, risk appetite, and many others, providing live data points to monitor constantly. The framework will include 18,000 elements within the next 12 to 18 months. I also created a multi-bureau credit application scorecard which is now considered the best in the industry that helped improve the accuracy by 18%, saving approximately £5m annually in bad debt. My professional career apart, I am an aspiring golfer and frequently take part in corporate golfing events. I am also a full-fledged athlete and finished the Ironman Triathlon twice in 2015 & 2017, I was previously ranked 2nd nationally for 400m Hurdles and High Jump events. As a recognition of my skills, I competed for Thames Valley Harries in the premier division of the UK Athletics scene, where I travelled the UK every other week for various events. I have also currently taken up a self-build project for our dream house that my wife and I aim to complete from start to finish.
