I have a diverse litigation and general corporate/business practice. In addition to litigating complex, commercial matters in state and federal courts in Texas and other states, I have also represented debtors, creditors, and trustees in bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings, and have represented companies seeking to resolve creditor disputes without the necessity of filing bankruptcy proceedings. In addition, I have represented a number of investors in establishing new ventures and pursuing general business transactions.Among my current matters, I am a member of the court appointed Plaintiffs' Executive Committee in the In re: Genetically Modified Rice Litigation proceedings pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. I also have recently represented investors in failed oil and gas drilling programs promoted in Texas and have represented an owner / lessor of aircraft engines in disputes with the lessee resulting from seizure of the engines by Mexican authorities.My general areas of practice include Arbitration & ADR, Bankruptcy & Creditor’s Rights, Commercial Litigation, Corporate transactions and General Civil Litigation.

Represented bankruptcy trustee in pursuit of equitable subordination claim against equity/debt holders.Securities Represented plaintiffs in obtaining $75 Million class action securities settlement relating to fraud in real estate limited partnership offerings. Represented investors in tax shelter, securities litigation against major brokerage firm and obtained $13 million settlement. Defended international investment banking firm in complex litigation involving fraud in securitized commercial mortgage transactions where claims exceeded $40,000,000.
