My responsibility involves managing the setup of new peering relationships and other solutions to maximize the bandwidth and drive down the peering OPEX in available facilities. I’m also working with the design and coordination of a new peering layer at Tele2 to make sure we stay competitive by building the most reliable 5G ready network for our customers to enhance their experience by lowering latency and increasing bandwidth.

One part of this responsibility was managing the setup of new peering facilities and other solutions to maximize the bandwidth and drive down the peering OPEX in available facilities. My responsibilities also included managing the peering relationships at Com Hem ensuring that Com Hem kept staying agile & competitive when dealing with large content providers such as Google, Facebook and Netflix, while still working to drive down customer experience metrics such as latency.

I also worked with operations and implementation of Com Hem's core/peering/backbone. The job contain working with mostly the Cisco ASR9k platform and protocols such as BGP, ISIS, MPLS and mLDP.

Designing LAN and WAN solutions for Skanska IT Nordic. Important projects:- Designing Swedens first 4G-WAN-solution to be used at all Skanskas remote sites- Implementing a new core and spine leaf solution in Skanskas new data center- Planning and migration of Skanskas data center to the new one- Created a new mp-BGP design for DMVPN to be able to run VRF's to remote sites.- Define standards for redundancy within the network and data center all they way down to the host- Designing the new in house network for Skanska office- Redesign of the Internet facing routers

Consulting big enterprise networks. Working with Cisco routers/switches/firewalls, Fortinet firewalls, Checkpoint firewalls, H3C routers/switches. Important projects:- Design new solutions and propose migration plans for customers when moving from one data center to another- Operate and have 3rd line support on all customers during the migration period- Decommission of the old data center- Create a temporary "leverage" solution available to customers where we can place machines temporary just to be able to move everything from the old data center.- Design and implementation of a new office network for a customer

Tele2 NOC monitored the network of 23 countries in Europe back then. The NOC was responsible for the entire Swedish IP-network, everything from residential customers using ADSL to core-routers. Tele2 NOC also monitored the EuroCore, which was a big core stretching all the way to the US, this core interconnected all countries and were used for traffic exchange between external ISPs / CDNs.Working as team leader on the NOC means being the shift responsible, delegating work, making sure all tickets are dealt with, dealing with the prio 1 cases, informing managers and/or other key personnel during outages. Some of the most tricky cases were often handed to team leaders which held more experience in solving them.
