Brad had the honor of establishing Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center as the nation's largest mobilization station managing mobilization, deployment, and demobilization of 250,000+ reserve component personnel from every state and territory. He flawlessly executed an annual operating budget in excess of $65M with a local economic impact exceeding $1B annually. Ten years later, upon mission completion, he moved the installation into uncharted territory building an open and positive climate for business development with a host of academic, government, and business partners for the purpose of research, collaboration, and technology transfer. Dr. Smith is a credentialed environmental professional and adjunct instructor in the Department of Biological Sciences at William Carey University.

Worked directly with the congressional delegation and senior leaders across the spectrum of government and business to market and insure proper resources were available for military and community partnering.
