Responsible for the product strategy, vision, and product market fit for the SLI product portfolio. I work to Inform product development via well-defined market requirements documents related to the portfolio of products.Within the various phases of the product lifecycle, I validate the product market fit which informs the development backlog. I work with the delivery managers to set priorities for iteration cycles, to ensure viability and maximize ROI for the products. I collaborate with product marketing to develop and implement the Go-to-Market strategy for the products, and communicate both internally and externally regarding the portfolio, investment strategies, strategic and tactical positioning.Influence cross-functional teams and various external stakeholders to achieve set objectives while remaining true to our values and competencies.

Working with our partners, I spent significant time increasing product awareness and our brand on a global scale. I worked directly with the CEO to meet with certification bodies, present to our partners, perform speaking events, deliver demonstrations, and set strategy for the products that we developed. During this time, we made a significant shift toward becoming a product company, which refocused my efforts from sales growth to product refinement.

As we focused our efforts on the oil and gas industry, I was expected to establish a firm understanding of the market opportunity. I established relationships and worked with Drilling companies and snubbing well servicing companies, perform requirements gathering and product definition for the development of workforce training products.

I designed and maintained the company domain and all of the marketing initiatives. As part of my own growth I took on a number of development tasks such as character animation, kismet, matinee and scaleform to help expand the end product for our existing clients. We have since filled those roles with other very talented individuals as I have moved on to other areas in the company.

I was responsible for delivering mature websites to our customer base and increasing web hosting and development revenue. I worked with the application developers to build out content managed websites, increasing the stickiness ensuring recurring revenue from web and email hosting.

I worked as part of a development team to build best practices for user experience. Through requirements elicitation, I would conceptualize websites based on the business needs, brand, and positioning. My skills broadened as the use cases for the internet evolved and businesses moved their revenue strategies online.
