A member of the Dow Jones senior leadership team in Asia, Christopher Ellis is the Vice President & Head of Partnerships & Licensing for the region. He leads the strategic initiatives and partnerships and licensing businesses for both The Wall Street Journal and the Professional Information Businesses of Dow Jones across the Asia-Pacific from his home base in Singapore. In this role he leads a team based across Asia, and is responsible for a region-wide subscription partnership portfolio for The Wall Street Journal, Barron's and other Dow Jones consumer brands, focusing on growth in digital content subscriptions and revenue. He also oversees a partnership portfolio that expands the reach of Dow Jones news and data assets into new markets and with new partners for Factiva, Dow Jones API’s, Dow Jones Newswires and the Wall Street Journal. He is also responsible for all content and data acquisition for the full suite of Dow Jones professional products throughout the Asia-Pacific region, managing relationships with news and data providers.In New York, NY USA, Christopher led business development efforts for two digital media start-ups, and originally began his career in digital media at the Associated Press. He also serves on the board of the Society of Publishers in Asia, based in Hong Kong.Christopher has a B.A. from the Colorado College, in Colorado, USA and a J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law in New York, NY USA.
