I am a software engineer developing a tool for editing Google Maps. I have a diversified set of experiences that allows me to problem-solve in a variety of ways, and my innate curiosity and desire to learn allows me to understand and adapt to any situation.When I began my college career, I chose to major in biomedical engineering because I wanted to blend my interest in biology and enthusiasm for engineering. During my first years at Georgia Tech, I found a passion for computer science, specifically the media and artificial intelligence concentrations. I am drawn to the complex systems required to pair man and machine in new and exciting ways.While working at NASA, I created an immersive virtual reality training game with integrated optic and haptic assets to determine the physical and cognitive states of astronauts. In doing so, I quickly discovered an aptitude for animation, game development, and virtual reality. Having the opportunity to create virtual worlds for the player to experience was extraordinary, and I want to continue doing so. In summary, I want to use my creativity, knowledge, and skills to design and develop immersive virtual worlds that touch audiences worldwide.
