I was responsible for network and system design, implementation, and support. I maintained a database for over 50,000 DID’s, Maintained a Harris phone system as well as our VOIP Phone system, Web Development using Perl and SQL as well as Server administration. I was also responsible for Linux, Asterisk servers, and user databases. Repair, install, and troubleshoot network hardware and data cables. Repair, install, and troubleshoot pc hardware, software, and configure systems. Create and maintain backups of all servers and the AS/400 system. Stage and install new servers and workstations. Administer and maintain sever call managers. I was able to save the company thousands of dollars each month by replacing expensive DS-1 lines with cheap DS:/Cable connections using Asterisk and they recovered the cost of the equipment in 2 months.
