Working as part of the Remote Services Team, I develop and maintain the API, automate processes and assist with any other development requirements.

I develop and maintain the following systems:1. SA Horse Racing System - Internal and public system2. Telephone Betting System3. Sports Betting Application - Internal system that creates matches, pools, tips and extracts data into XML. It also uses external data feeds to update the database with live scoring, team and league statistics. 4. I have been working at Celebrity Software as a Software Developer for almost 4 years developing an application called “LinerSuite”. “LinerSuite” is a complete and fully integrated software package for the liner ships agency industry. The package incorporates all modules that would be required to run a ships agency. The main modules include Manifest and Documentation, Import functions, Voyage Bookings, Export functions, Container Management, Client Management, General Ledger (Accounting), Reporting and Statistics. I have also been developing an application called “DepotSuite” for the past year. DepotSuite is a full featured, web based, Depot and Warehousing software package. DepotSuite allows you to effectively manage your container stock and provides you with easy access to the happenings in the container yard. DepotSuite is flexible and customized to meet your depot & warehousing business requirements. It is capable of handling transaction volumes for any size operation. Provides functionalities for the complete cycle of depot operations, such as Gate Activity (Container Tracking), Container Stock Control, Maintenance and Repair Estimator, Job Card Control, Client Control, Invoicing, Reporting, EDI. DepotSuite contains a powerful EDI component which makes use of custom industry formats (CODECO, INVOIC, CEDEX), allowing data to be sent/resent electronically to clients. DepotSuite affords customers the ability to preview invoices and authorise estimates online. I have also been working with databases and providing system support.
