I have known Will since his foray into consulting where we worked at the same firm, transitioning into a client engagement where I was assigned. Will was a pioneer during the beginnings of the open source, Internet, and electronic commerce "movements" and he was very well-respected by the partners and fellow consultants at the consulting firm we both worked for. During that time, Will had grown from a Java developer into a technical architect, and still today his intellectual curiosity compelled him to excel personally. Years after we both moved on from the firm, we met again as colleagues at OfficeMax (then known as Boise Office Solutions) building on our past relationship. It was a pleasure to work with someone who has professionally grown so much, continuously challenged themselves, and those around him, into what is now a solid business and technology leader, innovator, and evangelist. We have kept up along the way and Will has certainly not let the grass grow under his feet, as he recently completed his MBA, a significant step that proves his multi-facted ability to understand and solve complex business issues.
