I have been involved in the business of sponsorship since the early 70’s with a broad based knowledge of the sponsorship industry.Having worked with a number of international sports federations whilst with sponsorship agencies, and until the end of 2006 as an independent, I continued as marketing consultant and Project Director to the European Athletic Association. Through these relationships I have extensive experience and understanding of International Sports Federations, Local Organiser and Sponsor relationships and the delivery of sponsorship rights.In addition to working with marketing commissions I have been on various evaluation teams for future City/Venue bids, as well as contributing to the production of Organisational Manuals aimed at supporting and educating Local Organising Committees and National Sports Federations.Previous work also includes consulting to Rushmans, an international company specialising in the management and organisation of major sports events and development work with ECM2 linking UNESCO, the United Nations’ lead agency for Physical Education and Sport (PES) with sport.

Communication and coordination with LOCs linked to international sports federations (ISFs) including the IRB, ITF, CGF, IAAF, FIFA, UEFA, IWGA and their respective national Members.Creation of project management teams, sales presentations, rights acquisition and sponsorship sales contract negotiations, budget control, research and assessment of financial viability, statistical analysis of ROI through market research. Also member of various internal ISF teams responsible for marketing, venue selection and transfer of knowledge.
