- Recruit new specialized vendors to create and expand a multilingual resource database to accommodate clients’ needs. - Active on-going management of our linguist’s database and keep records up to date in the company database system. - Evaluate and track our vendor performance with Business Development & PM departments. - Use relevant market resources websites for recruitment, as Proz, Translator Café, Translation directory, LinkedIn, etc. - Negotiate rates with vendors - Evaluate project scope and make vendor recommendations accordingly - Develop strong vendor relationship. - Manage the recruitment process (job posting, screening CVs, sending tests and scheduling interviews) for different managerial positions and full time/freelance translators. - Make phone call interviews. - Prepare job offers and inform job applicants of job duties, benefits, working conditions, etc.
