I was originally employed by ECD as a Web Developer to work on existing and upcoming projects within the company, one of my main projects was the complete redesign and rebuild of their main website called Bozowi.Soon after starting at the company, A re-organisation meant that the IT Manager left the company and I have taken on that role, working closely with 4 members of staff on all our upcoming and existing projects.As part of that role I have also taken charge of ECD's Server as originally it was unmanaged and everyone had access to it which lead to huge amounts of unwanted files on the server and a messy insecure setup of the server and it's accounts. Upon taking charge I have cleared out the server of old unwanted files, organised accounts, removed accounts that are not required anymore and also fixed security issues with the server from poor setup and maintenance.The server is a WHM/cPanel server with CentOS Linux, I have also recently managed the move of our entire server from Hostgator to a UK company to secure the expansion of ECD in the future and I manage the servers performance (such as apache. mysql and email services) and also proper security procedures such as key file authentication and long random passwords for all critical areas of the server.Other duties include general IT Support around the office such as PC Setup for new employees, networking, hardware setup and troubleshooting such as printers, fax's etc.I also manage ECD's PBX telephone system - setting up lines, mailbox's, menu systems and phone settings for all the telephones in the office.Recently my role has also branched out into tablet setup and development, with new exciting contracts we are now setting up firmware on Android Tablets for business applications.

I was employed by raileasy to provide Front-End Web Development for their upcoming raileasy website as well as for their current affiliate systems.I'm doing HTML / CSS / Pure JavaScript / JQuery / Ajax development in a range of different systems, some built with Java, others ColdFusion and in the future they are thinking of moving to PHP based developments which I could take an active role in.I'm also helping with designs, layouts, and design issues, functionality ideas such as how to make processes easier to understand and/or complete.

I worked for Quantum Web Solutions as a Senior PHP Web Developer, my main role was to build new website systems for clients according to their individual requirements. Because there system were very buggy and insecure I also spent allot of my time as a bug fixer for various other clients.The main technologies I used for development were: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (JQuery, Ajax, Prototype), PHP (GD, SQL, ImageMagik), MySQL (SQL, PHPMYADMIN), Feeds (XML, RSS, SOAP with authentication).I also specialised in security and securing code so that sites could not be compromised. I worked heavily on the idea that code should be simple, laid out correctly and that code should be efficient so the system uses as little footprint as possible.
