About Wesley E. Heath, Ph.D.

I am a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) scholar-practitioner with a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. My work focuses on researching, designing, and implementing strategies that encourage individuals to work across social lines and explore complex notions of diversity, intersectionality, and social justice.I work personally and professionally to create and maintain high-trust, people-focused environments. To accomplish this, I make the choice every day to serve as an ally, an advocate, and an activist. As an ally, I work to unite individuals across social lines, supporting and celebrating both our differences and our similarities. As an advocate, I amplify the voices around me, drawing attention to impactful stories and experiences. Finally, as an activist, I work to bring necessary and lasting social change through policy and practice reforms that intentionally disrupt systems of oppression. As a scholar-practitioner, not only do I rely on my experiences and the valuable experiences of those around me, I also ground my work in current research and the high-impact practices I learn everyday.I can't wait to work together!Dr. Wescontact@wesheath.com(765) 425-9768wesheath.com
