Sr. Director Of Global Quality
Current• Oversee global quality system and its operations from 14 global sites;• Develop global quality strategies and lead quality system implementation and continuous improvement that results in measurable improvements in customer satisfaction, supplier chain, NPD and process improvement.• Define and execute the strategic supplier quality management system: establish the supplier qualification standards and approval processes. Lead to establish the global sourcing APQP and quality evaluation and development programs.• Plan, coordinate, and direct the quality control system designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards in Syracuse operations; Champion data driven decisions to achieve product excellence; problem solutions and continual improvement using various problem solving techniques and statistical data.• Formulate and maintain quality control objectives and coordinate objectives with production procedures to maximize product reliability and optimize efficiency.• Establish the quality KPIs, performance metrics, and improvement initiatives focused on continual improvement, preventative actions and reduction of process variations.• Manage to strengthen and support quality related management systems (ISO9001, TL9000, risk management, EHS, and customer compliance procedures);• Build the organizational capability and vitality of the Global Quality team via effective career development, coaching and mentoring.• Support new product launch activities • Drive cross function team to implement lean initiatives and daily LDM activities; participate and support the global operational review on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Inventory.
