Responsibilities:In my role as a Staff Software Engineer, I was involved in a variety of projects ranging from mobile application development to cloud-based platform management. My responsibilities included:1.Developing and delivering mobile applications using React Native and Typescript for self-driving buses/trucks and web pages using React and Typescript for the cloud-based platform, focusing particularly on big screen data visualization.2.Writing well-designed, testable code to ensure the high-quality standard across all our projects.3.Building and establishing a Front-end architecture for the team, including setting up coding and Git commit rules to streamline workflows.4.Providing technical solutions for program managers, and creating software requirements for various projects based on the needs analysis of different departments.5.Planning development schedules and strategies in line with project scopes and delivery dates.6.Managing an outsourced program, which involved coordinating with external teams and ensuring project deliverables were met on time.7.Mentoring two interns, assigning them to tasks related to documentation and development.8.Delivering a web and mobile app for the office management system, developed with Java Spring and React + Typescript, and deployed on a cloud platform using Docker and Minio service for image files management.Achievements:1.Delivered a mobile application (React Native, Typescript, Mobx) for remote driving within a one-month timeframe. This application, designed for a self-driving container truck in a harbor, has already been implemented in real-life scenarios.2.Developed a demo iOS application, mixing Swift and C programming languages, to simulate and test remote driving. The C language programming part was used for TCP communication protocol and safety state machine.

Responsibilities:As a Senior Front-end Engineer, my focus was on leveraging D3.js and ECharts for traffic data visualization on our Cloud Platforms. I utilized these tools to handle immense real-time traffic data, aiding in data-driven decisions. My experience emphasized the power of D3.js's customization in addressing unique, large-scale data visualization needs in the transportation sector.My responsibilities included:1. Developing web projects from scratch, with React Hook and Typescript, and designing their Front-end architecture.2. Implementing data visualization features using E-chart and D3.js for statistic or real-time data display.3. Using flv.js to implement a video monitoring system, and Canvas to draw and present complex data.4. Building understanding and proficiency in GIS to leverage in web development for V2X (Vehicle to Everything) features. This included use of 2D/3D Web Map Engines (Open Layer, Cesium.js), GeoJSON, and ArchGIS, among others.5. Creating a general function library and view components for the Front-end team, maintaining a focus on reusable and clean code.Achievements:1. Delivered web projects for a cloud control platform for a V2X system, including a vehicle management system, public transportation equipment management, and traffic data visualization.2. Played a significant role in the SF-Express logistic airport project (the largest logistic company in China), which involved the development of an airport scheduling system using a 3D Map engine and collaboration with developers from several other companies.3. Delivered a dashboard web application for the vehicle unit (OBU) and a web application for a Big Screen Data Visualization system.4. Utilized a simple mathematical algorithm to solve the GPS coordinates data drifting problem.5. Delivered an iOS app for a self-driving shuttle used at UC Davis, which was an experimental project in North America, in collaboration with SAIC and NEXUS.
