Current1. Lead programme activities ranging from program kickoff to phase out for all chassis engineering commodities. Manage program launch representing PD Engineering in all programme events. Identify programme requirements and priorities and facilitate the activities of the delivery team by managing programme status, budget, planning and reporting out for chassis function.2. Lead complex technical and delivery issues within the scope of chassis commodities including Suspension, Engine Mount, Steering, Brakes, Wheels and Tyres. Manage China unique software of PSCM, ADAS and IPB, both on-site and OTA.3. Lead programme deliverables and priority requirements, interface between the programme and other cross functional teams and engineering team, being the key role to ensure programme focus and represent the functional requirements within the programme throughout the entire programme lifecycle.a. Liaise and work with Marketing to understand the market trend and the need of product, transfer product strategy to tangible and feasible engineering deliverables.b. Liaise and work with Purchase and Finance to nominate commodity suppliers ensuring the best business cases are achieved.c. Liaise and work with STA (or known as SQE) and testing faculties to guarantee the robust planning and implementation of product validation.d. Liaise and work with Manufacturing to identify and resolve on-site technical issues during launch build events as well as amid volume production.e. Liaise and work with Company Quality to understand after-sale quality claims and lead engineering activities for resolution where applicable.4. Support VLBR (or known as VAVE) to ensure the annual cost target is achieved with qualified commodities validated.5. Be the key contact window between the Joint Venture and JLR UK / JLRC.
