As the Director of Evaluation, my role was to build and oversee ALLMemphis' evaluation framework, process, and continuous improvement culture. This included the creation and implementation of our strategic mission-to-outcomes logic model including the collection, monitoring, and reporting of program data. I worked closely with partner schools and organizations to cultivate creative avenues for data-sharing strategy and used collected data to build user-friendly, high-impact data visualizations to support the efficacy of our programmatic work.

My role at the Fund was designed to spearhead collaboration between directors, local funders, and grantee partners through the use of evaluation to align work and strategies. Through the in-depth analysis of local and state policy and outcomes, I calculated the impact of grant strategy and informed decision makers on local investment. I worked closely with key local organizations and stakeholders to increase data-sharing capacity and database access for the company. I was further placed as the sole analyst on the start-up team for the Whole Child Strategy where I was responsible for engineering the Results Based Accountability (RBA) model and initiating data sharing, housing, and distribution processes for the initiative.

As an Analyst Fellow with Education Pioneers, I supported Seeding Success through data-informed policy research and recommendations. Primarily, I developed reports, briefs, and other needed material on key topics in local, state, and federal education policy. These briefs influenced collaborative work with the People First Partnership, school district, and local organizations to monitor and respond to policy activities and grant opportunities. Further, I engaged local leadership to identify policy challenges, share best practices, and develop implementation strategies for topics ranging from student discipline and social emotional learning to K-12 health policy.

My chief role was to execute primary, secondary, and strategy research projects from conception to analysis, including questionnaire development, field management, data analysis using SPSS analytics, and report writing. I developed solutions for client business needs through analysis of segmentation, customer satisfaction, product and concept testing, and branding and loyalty research. Further, to advance the scope and capacity of the company branch, I pioneered and established strategy research methodologies and online community panels for the Chicago office.

I focused on designing an efficient, user-friendly database of biannual public opinion survey questions conducted since 1974 as my main internship project. Further research and editorial assistance was provided for the studies department blog, upcoming social surveys, and departmental programs. This included the analysis and composition of reports on survey findings of public opinion on foreign policy. When necessary, I also supported event coordination staff in various mid- to large-scale programs.
