Teach lab component to upper year undergraduate students in Applications of Physiological Principles of Human Performance at Dalhousie University in the Health and Human Performance Department. Guide students through various lab protocol and reports, correct any assignments and provide extra help. Lab topics include metabolic cart testing, V02max testing, various maximal and submaximal exercise protocols, blood flow, exercise supplementation, statistical analysis, and lab reporting writing.

Complete graduate courses in cardiovascular and respiratory physiology, neuroscience, research instrumentation and measurement and statistical analysis. Complete thesis project titled Uncovering the role of the human primary motor cortex in cardiovascular control during exercise: A transcranial magnetic stimulation investigation. Thesis completion involves writing and presenting proposal, performing all necessary background research, recruiting and scheduling participants, training lab assistants, performing data collection and analysis, deducing study conclusions and defending written thesis to a panel of academic professionals. Also perform necessary teaching assistant and research assistant duties througout the academic and summer months.

Assist Professor of Exercise Physiology by teaching the lab component of the course at Dalhousie University in the Health and Human Performance Department. Instruct students on lab protocol and guide through them through assigned experiments involving exercise testing. Labs include strength and endurance testing, manual blood pressure measurement, and other health and physical fitness related topics. Duties also include marking all assignments and lab reports and provide extra help.

Plan and execute academic and social events for all HAHP Graduate Students, including Orientation Week events, holiday social events and act as an information relay person between HAHP Faculty and Staff to students.

Plan and carry out professional interdisciplinary health conference to showcase and present work that focuses on any aspect of health or health promotion. Includes organizing location, keynote speakers, catering, sponsorship and grant applications; as well as determining attendees and presenters based on academic merit of proposed research.
