Engineering Team Lead
CurrentInvestigate fluid mixing efficiency through CFD analysis and conducted in-house experiments to facilitate product development and aid growth of patent portfolio and SCI papers. Investigate heat transfer/thermal performance of microfluidics disks by using FEM during assembly process to facilitate manufacturingCreate and review system procedures, work instructions, and research reports in compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA requirements.Design and prototype microfluidic devices by CNC milling, laser cutting, 3D printing, laser welding, and plotter cutting, through iterative CAD and CAM processes.Test and compare surface properties, such as hydrophobicity and chemical inertness, of various materials (PMMA, PC, COC, COP).Collaborate closely with biology and chemistry teams to ensure engineering alignment with immunoassay requirements.Conduct testing and data analysis of microfluidic devices, generating formal reports, and presentations weekly. Project management:Lead and oversee a team of five to deliver projects on time, meeting milestones and requirements, which resulted in the release of seed funding.Liaise and plan with the CTO, CEO, and R&D manager to achieve strategic goals and milestones; estimate costs and develop a budget for the financial year.
