The line was a top 5 performing product by revenue.I ensured that Avon’s Global Brand Relaunch resonated with local audiences whilst staying true to the new strategic direction and concept. The campaign increased the company’s online video views by 5 244% and engagement by 198%.I was tasked with the implementation of digital campaigns for two new fragrance launches: Avon Far Away Rebel Diva and Artistique Parfumiers Collection. Both scents were part of the company’s top three selling* categories.I was part of the team recognised by Avon global as the best-in-market digital creative team.I was responsible for the ideation, development and execution of A-Firm Brightening Range’s creative platform. I was responsible for the conception, development and execution of the 360 campaign to launch Absa’s ChatBanking on WhatsApp. The 6 week campaign garnered 120 000 sign ups and was nominated for 4 awards.I contributed to the relaunch and new positioning of Absa’s Premium Banking. It resulted in a 64% sales increase and won an award.I conceptualised and pitched a social media campaign to support Jameson’s brand repositioning in South Africa. Client bought the proposed idea.

I wrote sharp engaging social media copy for PUMA’s premium stores: PUMA Select. The content effectively landed the stores’ high end yet urban positioning.I ensured SABRIC’s social media campaigns aimed at educating the public about safe banking tips were packaged in an engaging yet effective manner.I conceptualised and implemented the Nando’s Photo Safari Challenge for their team building experience.

I started as an intern, developed into a journalist and then managing editor.As managing editor I lead the improvement of the newspaper’s quality and fame. The title went on to win two awards.I was tasked with the digital advancement of the newspaper. This included the launch and maintenance of the news website and social media platforms.I was responsible for the expansion of 3 new titles under the publishing house’s umbrella.
