In accordance with Government ICT requirements for procurement and disposal of ICT products and services.• Review policies, procedures relating to asset management as per the Financial Management Policy Manual and develop processes where required to ensure correct treatment of registering the allocation, storage and disposal of departmental ICT hardware assets. • Prepare and process relevant paperwork via online portal to ensure the set-up of new ICT Assets, and the transfer and disposal of currently owned ICT Assets.• Ensure all hardware is recorded in the SAP asset ledgers are maintained accurately within established timeframes.• Provide advice concerning ICT asset management, policies and procedures to TDS stakeholders and staff. • Liaise, negotiate and provide feedback to stakeholders on how best to manage their ICT Assets by ensuring they are compliant with department policies and procedures.• Establish, manage and maintain effective business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.• Participate in yearly stocktake audits and remaining useful life adjustments • Monthly reconciliation reporting of capital account.• Participation in budget preparation for device numbers • Monthly reconciliation of all devices and network equipment with the SAP asset ledger. • Device replacement program data co-ordination and participation.
