As an Indirect Purchasing Student in the supply chain team at Robert Bosch, I focus on optimizing procurement processes for indirect materials and services. While my primary responsibilities are in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, I also collaborate with the European region. I actively contribute to projects involving the procurement of logistics, office supplies, hardware components, and maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO). Additionally, I manage cross-border tenders and contract negotiations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement solutions.Key responsibilities:• Assist the purchasing team with administrative tasks, including purchasing preparation and SAP system coordination• Serve as the first point of contact for local user departments across various material field (IT, Marketing, Facilities Management, Logistics Services, Consulting, and Temp Labour).• Support purchasing by contributing to procurement strategy planning and making recommendations• Collaborate with local business partners to enhance procurement processes• Liaise with work packages related to various indirect material fields• Facilitate communication between user departments and suppliers• Engage in supplier sourcing activities, including initial discussions• Ensure alignment with internal business partners regarding requirements and timing• Assist in commercial and contractual negotiations with vendors and service providers• Coordinate new vendor setups and updates to existing vendor profiles• Support Category Experts in preparing the monthly Indirect Cost Report (ICR)• Maintain SRM by uploading contracts, price agreements, and monitoring contract validity

In this role, I was tasked to support Robert Bosch Australia on administration tasks and explore potential opportunities on current and future markets. Through powerful analysis and clear communication, I translated complex market insights into actionable strategies, contributing to project growth in the renewable energy sector. In this role, my task was to create and document invoices, resolve billing errors, issue deliveries, and keeping records of all payments that have been made by and to the company. My roles also involve communication with customers in invoicing related topics.Key responsibilities:• Ensuring that client information details are kept up to date• Creating and sending invoices and statements to customers• Checking the data input to ensure the accuracy of the final bill• Tracking payments and ensuring that the cash flow into the company is buoyant• Reporting issues or irregularities to the financial head of the company• Fixing billing errors by issuing debit and credit memos• Liaising with the logistics department and ensuring that goods are dispatched on time• Recovering outstanding debts• Handling clients’ account queries

In this internship, I learned the fundamentals of financial derivative contract between client and CFD provider. I was involved in securities research and assets trading in both demo and real currencies. My trading includes forex, precious metals, commodities, shares and indices. Key responsibilities:• Perform technical analysis and strategize investment plan• Create trading plans and perform capital allocation on each product• Utilise risk management strategies to protect position• Develop financial modelling and forecasting financials to determine a valuation and investment recommendation• Simulate strategies by exploring their historical performance via backtesting
