I'm one of the co-founders of Artmu—an online marketplace and community that connects emerging artists with the audience.Having worked as an artist and designer myself, I've realized that many young creatives struggle to be seen, while art lovers cannot easily keep up with all the new artists or find unique artwork within their budgets. Artmu solves this problem by offering the easiest access to discover the hidden gems and upcoming talents.Founded at Aalto University in the winter of 2022, Artmu currently boasts over 80 talented designers and artists, featuring over 700 creative works in 2023. We are alumni of Ignite at Aaltoes, Aalto Venture Program, and Tech Nordic Advocates. Additionally, we have collaborated with MUJI Finland and HIAA (Helsinki International Artists Association) and have been supported by Helsinki Think Company grant.Our mission extends beyond connecting artists with audiences; we aim to catalyze a holistic ecosystem that nurtures creativity, drives innovation, and contributes to the economic and artistic vibrancy of Finland.
