► Responsible for recruiting individuals with technical and non technical skill sets for open positions with clients. ► Develop recruiting strategies daily designed to identify qualified candidates, utilizing online resources, attending networking events for specialized skill sets, and networking with industry professionals. ► Identify, select and recommend the best candidate for the client requirements. Negotiate wage rates and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates, and gain commitment from candidates for job requirements. ► Oversee completion of pre-employment processes including reference checks and background/drug tests, and pre-employment paperwork. ► Responsible for hiring contract employees as well as terminating assignments of contract employees. ► Manage contract employees while on assignment, including visits to the client site, taking contract employees to lunch, and communicating regularly. Assess and investigate contractor related problems, and administer performance counseling, coaching, and disciplinary measures when necessary. ► Work with Account Managers in a team environment to identify top accounts, target skill sets, key market segments, and to assess clients' staffing requirements.► Prospecting using internet resources, and cold calling new and existing clients to generate business. ► Communicate with peers by sharing recruiting 'best practices' and providing accurate, thorough documentation on contract employees in applicant tracking systems.
