Additionally, Wendy is an outspoken advocate for women struggling with fertility issues. She publically chronicled her own journey to get pregnant after the age of 40 and candidly discussed her decision to use a donor egg to ensure a successful pregnancy at the age of 46. Burch’s voice has been instrumental in encouraging other women to seek out fertility treatments. Burch is currently writing about her experience in the book entitled “The Pregnant Pause” due for publication in April of 2017.
