Prior to working with Sea Haven I worked as Family School Coordinator for four years with Green Sea Floyd's Elementary School. In 2004, I worked as Administrative Assistant working directly with Executive Director in the administrative office fulfilling administrative and personnel responsibilities. I went back to school and completed my BA degree in Psychology with minor in Sociology in 2010. In 2012 I was promoted to Outreach Coordinator where I monitored outreach activities for the Shelter program and maintained daily operations of the Safe Place project. I am currently the Development Director for Sea Haven and am responsible for coordinating all program outreach efforts, program development, professional staff development, emergency coverage for direct care service , and all aspect of the Safe Place Project. I am a certified instructor for Managing Aggressive Behavior and Positive Youth Development: The Vital Link. I am an active trainer for Safe Place which educates local businesses and partners about correct procedures and responses to emergency situations. I currently reside on the National Safe Place Advisory Board. I also coordinate the Sea Haven Advisory Committee.
