I interact with residents on a daily basis. I take and serve their food orders and clean my area.

We are learning about Tulsa's higher education opportunities and the many resources it has at hand. We are getting paid to learn and spread information that the city of Tulsa offers.

This program helps us, students in Tulsa Public Schools develop leadership skills and make a difference in our communities. It's a semester-long program, where we identify together challenges and strengths in our community and take action to create a change.In my cohort we chose school safety and informed ourselves about how our school community feels about this topic and the main concern was that in our area we didn't have school zone signs. We eventually were able to speed up the process to get these.

In this Internship opportunity, I learned what the business world is and what it's about. I also had the opportunity to learn more about powerful businesswomen across the world and how they impacted the world. My internship as well was not only in the business center, I was able to tour the town of Greenwood and learn more about its history. Adding to this I was also able to network in various events and meetings that helped me with my communication skills and being open-minded, in these events, I was part of their annual Women's Summit where they talk and enhance women entrepreneurs and others who are interested to grow and share their story.
