I love my job. Everyday I count my blessings. I work with such a grateful, appreciative group of teachers. My staff comes to work each and every day with a song in their hearts and a true desire to share of themselves their love for learning. Students need to know that we want to help them and that outside elements can't hurt them if they believe in themselves. We tell our students each day "you matter"​ to us and that "excellence begins with them". Our goal at Arp Elementary is to instill in our students not only a strong academic foundation, but a desire to be a productive member of society.Our job is tough! We have so many children who struggle to just come to school. Sometimes their stories are very sad, even heartbreaking, but we have the honor of brightening their day, strengthening their souls and filling voids we may not even know they have. Stay strong! Your job as an educator is painfully important. Love your job! You do make a difference in ways you may never know.
