With over 25 years experience in not-for-profit management, I am passionate about advancing the rights, dignity, and inclusion of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As the Association Director of the Developmental Disabilities Alliance of Western New York (DDAWNY), I oversee and execute the board's direction, strategy, and goals, while building strong relationships among member organizations, elected officials, and community stakeholders. In my current role, I administer the day-to-day facets of the association, including budgeting, marketing, communications, and event planning. I also represent the association in various coalitions, committees, and forums, and regularly coordinate legislative and membership events.I leverage my skills in nonprofit and team leadership, relationship building, advocacy, and marketing communications to ensure the mission and vision of the organization are upheld and communicated effectively.
