Collection of delinquent accounts. Maintains accounts by utilizing various systems and communicating with various internal and external people.

Responsible for 32 Data Based Commitment Accounting System (dBCAS) non-stock user accounts forward deployed to Iraq, Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Uzbekistan for Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and reimbursable accounts for both OEF and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). Ensure customer service and satisfaction are maintained through frequent communication via telephone, e-mail and site visits.Provide routine maintenance for the automated logistics financial system. Uses this system to monitor and troubleshoot daily, weekly, and monthly data inputs by resolving any identified errors. Review and research commitments/obligations processed through the automated system and maintain files by Fiscal Year/Account Processing Code (APC) and Element of Resource for all commitment and accounting documents. Provide analysis to identify discrepancies, errors, and funding shortfalls and coordinates the resolution on a routine basis to include analysis between document register and the automated system. Reconcile each logistical/financial system download file with obligation totals and coordinates resolution of discrepancies and or errors. Provide oversight for obligating documents to include Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR) and Contracts. Maintain document registers, hardcopy files and balanced obligations. Conduct desk-side training and customer assistance support as required for resource managers in the use of automated system and maintenance of accounting files.
