- Head Office based financial support for Aylesbury Dairy project team.- Monthly reporting of Project costs to Project Managers and attendance at cost reviews .- Support for Project Director in preparing for Steering Group meetings and presentation of Financials (Capex/Non-Capex) at meeting.- Support and advice for PMs on managing payments to suppliers.- Visit to Finland to carry out audit of supplier's accounts and ensure financial viability.- Setting up leases, managing payments and ensuring correct accounting treatment.- Capitalisation of Dairy assets. - Liaising with other teams at Head Office regarding the project.

Documented and streamlined process to enable use for quarterly forecasts. - Finance support for £3.5m tender of financing for replacement tractors; prepation of documentation for banks, comparison of quotes and preparation of legal documentation following agreement.

NB December 2006-2007 Maternity Leave- Finance support for sales and marketing teams, preparation and review of weekly/monthly performance and ad-hoc analysis. - Preparation of budgets for marketing areas and sales teams including review, feedback and issue of final pack. - Preparation and challenge of tenders for new and existing business, liasing with production and distribution teams and ensuring required returns are achieved. - Assistance and advice to business managers when agreeing annual trading terms with customers. - Following a change in accounting system, responsible for setting up, maintaining and reconciliation of trading agreements in SAP to ensure the accuracy of reporting and accounts. Worked with trading teams on clarification and simplification of agreements.

- Financial support for two business units, including weekly and ad hoc reporting and analysis.- Development of inflation reporting to enable accurate analysis of weekly sales performance in terms of volume, mix and inflation/deflation.- Production of business plans and forecasts for business units including negotiation of targets meeting company goals and consultation with business units and suppliers to incorporate wider customer based plans into the financial plan.- Evaluation of trading projects vs company criteria, ensuring financial and commercial viability.- Forecasting performance, based on knowledge of business areas and commercial decisions (e.g. pricing).

- Forecasting of expected sales phasing for major trading periods.- Weekly and periodic Board reporting of key financial and non-financial measures- Analysis of competitor full/half year and Christmas trading performance vs industry/Asda.- Preparation and communication of store Business Plans and Forecasts. - Development of Essbase models for planning and forecasting with external contractors.

- Basic manangement accounting- Reporting externally and internally, including Board reporting.- Improving and streamlining procedures to make reporting faster and more accurate.- Role in Treasury supporting Assistant Group Treasurer with wholesale banking, foreign currency requirements and project to analyse customer payment types. Placed money on a daily basis with banks to optimise the company's daily cash position.- Completion of CIMA Qualification.
