I have 25 year’s teaching experience (K-12) prior to becoming a Psychologist. I am also an experienced researcher/counsellor for mothers and babies, a School Psychologist (K-12) and have been an Adolescent Counsellor for a local education authority. I have also been a Behavioural Interventionist with clients on the ASD spectrum (including those with learning difficulties and/or developmental disorders). My specialities include working with stressed/anxious/depressed clients of all ages, primary/high school learning, behavioural difficulties and utilizing Human Biology information regarding useful/practical psychoeducation and I am also an experienced therapist regarding self-harm, suicidal ideation, alcohol and other drugs and addictions, trauma, etc. I have extensive experience in psychometric assessment and testing (e.g. cognitive, functional, etc.) including its applications and I have worked extensively with clients of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds in the Western Sydney area. I am Medicare accredited.I am a firm believer in positive psychology utilized with evidence based practice . I use and teach mindfulness in my practice and am fascinated by the reduction in stress. I am a constant researcher into stress, anxiety and depression. I am a certified WorkCover practitioner and in this regard I continually hone my skills surrounding trauma. I really enjoy working with people of all ages.
