Recruit businesses, schools, churches and civic organizations to host blood drives and serve as intermediary between the blood center and the community.Raise awareness of organization and mission within the community through attending health fairs and hosting blood typing events.Communicate, solve and prevent further occurrence of customer service issues between donors and blood drive coordinators and clinical staff within the blood center.

Recruit youth participants, adult volunteers, and community sponsor organizations.Recruit, train and supervise volunteer staff members to implement youth programs and events.Plan and direct special events for fundraising, such as silent auctions, dances, golf events, or walks.Develop and implement fundraising activities, such as annual giving campaigns and corporate and community giving programs.Research grant opportunities, prepare and submit grant proposals, and oversee implementation of grant programs and funds.
