As a manager of Data Analysis Gas and Power, I implement and manage the controls for register data for all Power & Gas customers of Essent in the Netherlands and Belgium together with my team of 7 data analysts. This to minimize costs created by market errors and maximize income by providing accurate data to support allocation and reconciliation processes and portfolio optimization and improve short and long term Power & Gas forecasting.We ensure constant and reliable collection, storage, validation and reporting of allocation & reconciliation data for all Power & Gas customers of Essent in the Netherlands and Belgium. The output is the basis for the energy balance of Essent and invoicing sales channels, and is the control of all metered Power & Gas sourcing and purchased volumes of total Essent and RWEST in the Netherlands and Belgium. Additionally we add value by performing analysis and providing data to Essent departments and RWEST to reduce imbalance costs and to improve load forecasting. Furthermore, I am responsible for P&L contribution by identifying, preparing and negotiating claims towards grid companies regarding allocated and reconciled volumes.I am coaching the team in the day to day activities as well as in projects. I work cross functionally across teams within REM and with other business units within the Essent and RWEorganisation.

The Business Unit EET (Essent Energy Trading) is a dynamic, fast growing international energy trading company. It covers all areas of the energy value chain; from sourcing of fuel, to the optimisation of gas supplies and from the provision of stable commodity prices to the trade in emissions. EAT (embedded in F&C EET) is the unit responsible for collection, validating and distribution of measurement data of all physical power and gas transactions in all markets EMG is physical present in. After validation and approval by EAT, measurement data is considered definitive. Due to complex legislation and frequent errors by market participants, EAT discovers and restores a variety of errors on a daily basis. By recovering incorrect data EAT is adding value to EMG; on a day to day basis imbalance penalties up to EUR 1 mln are prevented, on a monthly basis EAT provides accurate data to improve short and long term forecasting models and data, prevents settlement losses and finds and negotiates errors with external parties with direct impact on the bottom line of EMG.EET is ‘Program Responsible’ for all sales done by Essent business units and external companies. EAT is fulfilling a significant part of this role. It is knowledge intensive and as EET’s center of expertise, EAT is participating in internal and external committees/organizations to influence current and future legislation and codes to protect the interests of EET and Essent.

As a Contract Execution Manager for Biomass I reported to the Manager Mid Office Sustainable. Our team is responsible for the administrative support for sourcing and trading of all sustainable products (wood pellets, vegetable pellets vegetable oils etc.). 1. Responsible for the administration of commercial contracts (wood pellets, vegetable pellets vegetable oils etc.) in its execution stages in a Supply Chain Management system (SAP) 2. Analysis of administrative commodity positions generated by Mid Office in liaison with Front Office. 3. Coordinator for Mid Office between Front Office and Production with regard to the administrative execution of commodity contracts. 4. Processing incoming invoices for payment.5. Facilitating and generating invoicing. Results areas:1. Correct and timely registration in SCM systems all administrative data concerning the execution stages of commercial contracts. Collects and interprets logistical information from internal and external sources, in liaison with front office.2. Prepares reports on various execution stages of commercial contracts, actual and historic.3. Timely processing of in coming invoices for payment by SSC co-ordinating the invoicing to external customers. 4. Prepares monthly costs accrual reports. 5. Provides administrative information to sub-user groups, translates and coordinates relevant and specific requests from these groups into new workflows.
