Implemented a strategic leadership annual giving and alumni engagement program as part of the college’s comprehensive advancement efforts. Focused on individual and mass solicitation approaches to increase annual gifts of $1,000-25,000 to CVMBS with emphasis on ensuring upgrades and repeat giving. Bolstered the college’s major and planned gift donor pipeline through identification and cultivation of annual and mid-level CVMBS donors in collaboration with development colleagues. Increased alumni awareness and affinity for CVMBS programs and services through reunions, outreach, communication, and other engagement methods. Served as primary liaison to alumni and alumni donors to ensure access to college resources, networking opportunities, and other requests were met. Oversaw solicitation process for D.V.M. class scholarships, Animal Health Innovation fund and various other fundraising and stewardship initiatives. Provided oversight and staff coaching for annual giving campaign strategy, program development, implementation at the University of Northern Colorado Foundation from March 2006 to May 2007. Prior to contract with UNC, intermittently provided project-based freelance services in copy writing, grant writing, direct mail campaigns, online communication and prospect research to various local clients including, but not limited to: Teaching Tree Early Childhood Learning Center; Hoggatt Law; Jones Consulting; and, Colorado State University Advancement.
