Oversaw commercial operations for the Value Based Medicine team within the Biogen R&D Innovation Hub. Led the commercial analysis and planning for a number of initiatives that employ quantitative digital health solutions to transform multiple sclerosis patient care. Market development of an iPad-based patient self-administered functional neurological assessment for MS (MSPT) which was successfully launched at the Cleveland Clinic in 2016.

Led reimbursement, pricing, contracting, distribution, account management and health care systems marketing for the U.S. Multiple Sclerosis and Hemophilia businesses. Oversaw a team of 85 people located in the both the home office and in the field. Launched Tecfidera, Biogen's first oral MS drug and largest commercial product. Secured 75% positive formulary access for Tecfidera in the first two months.

Led a team of four responsible for all investor strategy and communication for Biogen including message development, quarterly earnings, investor conferences, and non-deal roadshows. Worked closely with buy side investors and sell side analysts. Improved investor sentiment year over year and brought more EU investors to the stock.

Managed Biogen's sales and marketing co-promotion of Rituxan in Oncology and Rheumatology with Genentech. Responsible for 150 field sales people and 5 internal marketing and sales analytics employees. Acted as the primary commercial interface for Biogen's collaboration with Genentech, co-leading the Joint Commercial Committee (JCC) and serving on the Joint Steering Committee (JSC). Sales teams exceeded sales goals in both 2009 & 2010, despite the entrance of Ofatumumab – the first direct competition for Rituxan.

Led the field based account management team (30) for both National and Regional accounts, including commercial insurance and government programs (Medicare, Medicaid, TriCare, DoD). Also managed the field reimbursement team supporting coding and coverage for our MS brands. Secured highly favorable product access for Avonex each year without over paying.

Led a team of six responsible for global positioning, messaging and life cycle management for Biogen's Neurology brands from Phase II through product launch, phase IV and life cycle product enhancements. Interfaced heavily with all marketing team leads both in U.S. and ex-U.S. Launched Tysabri, Biogen's first commercial IV drug. Successfully re-branded Avonex, launching one global logo and messaging platform in all markets, including the U.S. Avonex sales topped $1.5B and maintained market leadership despite being a 10-year old brand with fierce competition.
