Worked collaboratively with the 56 National Governing Bodies/High Performance Management Organizations within the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic community to protect athletes from emotional, physical and sexual misconduct and abuse. I stood up an office and team charged with developing and maintaining the internal infrastructure for prevention, education and response and resolution efforts; led organizational vision and strategies, and facilitated and shaped cross-functional teams to ensure execution of organizational objectives. I served as the primary liaison to the U.S. Center for SafeSport as we embraced an effective and collaborative partnership with this independent entity to ensure the health and wellbeing of Team USA.

Charged with transforming the work and culture of a 100-person team responsible for administering the employee on-boarding program, payroll, benefits, performance management, awards and recognition, employee call center and retirement functions for a workforce of over 36,000. I focused on the professional development of team members, reframing our work from transactional to relational interactions with our employees as valued customers, and process and policy enhancement to increase efficiencies and strategic utilization of resources.

As the chief executive, I infused energy into an athletic conference that craved leadership. I overhauled the financial infrastructure, ensuring enhanced transparency, appropriate oversight and improved fiscal responsibility. I led board members through a governance restructure and initiated a corporate hotel sponsorship program.

As a lead change agent, I guided staff through a significant cultural and leadership transition; directed an overhaul of financial operations that supported a multi-million dollar portfolio and led a robust revision of conference governance. In addition, I ran point on the development of a five-year strategic plan and facilitated a process that positioned the conference to expand membership.

As there was a critical need for a sustainable playoff solution, I served as the lead architect for the creation and formation of a six-team conference qualifying for NCAA Division I championship play. I subsequently negotiated a conference expansion to a twelve-team league; resulting in doubling the league's membership and resources, increasing the visibility and strength of the conference and enhancing the student-athlete experience.I was energized by the commitment, passion and support of the coaches who came together as a cohesive group with one primary purpose: providing a first-class experience for student-athletes.
