As an Executive Coach with over 25 years of human resources, leadership, and management experience, Iβm always striving to build and foster relationships with clients at Board or Senior Management level, and then focus on giving them (and their teams) the tools, knowledge, and opportunities they need to be productive and effective in their commitment to self, their organizations, and their work. From experience, planning for the next step or chapter in your life, even though exciting and challenging can also be frightening, but there is also something very creative and interesting about embracing the unknown. Someone whom I admire once said, βYouβll never do a whole lot unless youβre brave enough to try.βYou see, for me, itβs always been about putting people first -- no matter their background, age, or occupation. Mentoring executives and emerging leaders through transitions and tough decisions takes insight, patience, and persistence. It is very much about respect, respect for the individual, their thoughts, opinions, and decisions, but it is also about respect and understanding for their situation, and what theyβre going through. Respectfully persistent, I believe in the power of people to not only achieve their goals and dreams but to be successful too β that is what motivates me as a person and as a coach. My mentoring and coaching skills have evolved from varying facets of my dynamic career path. Social services positions and a four-year high-profile Human Resources position in the airline industry have given me both focused determination and flexibility. My role as Director of Operations and Leadership for two Health Care Facilities, and as a member of the International Coaching Federation has also cultivated a genuine, heightened concern for the health and welfare of the executives I coach. My outlook comes not only from experience but from extensive education. I have a Commerce Degree (majoring in HR), a certificate in Career Counseling, and I'm a graduate of the Royal Roads Executive Coaching Program. I'm also a certified practitioner in Emotional Intelligence, NLP, and a certified trainer in Legacy Leadership, Strength Deployment Inventory, and Coaching Out of the Box. I'm also an International Coaching Federation Prism Award winner. Core Values: Wisdom β Kindness β Inspiring Others β Growth β IntegrityContact me today: hrforyou@shaw.ca
