For more than 20 years, Wendy has been dedicated to the development of strategic pathways for organizations and individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the communities where they live and serve. It is with that vision that Wendy founded Threads - a collaborative initiative where corporations, individuals, families and foundations partner together to maximize their philanthropic impact.

Equipping people to reach their nations. A third of our world has not yet heard the good news of Jesus. But we live in a time where many of those are within reach of a local church.  Through our simple and effective strategy of training and coaching, believers share the Gospel in their own nations and cultures, multiplying disciples and locally sustainable fellowships.

Led central Pennsylvania’s award-winning Children’s Miracle Network program. As a member of Penn State University’s Development Division, Wendy served on the leadership team responsible for growing the overall philanthropic revenue for Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital. Recruited by the Heritage Center Board in 2009 to lead the organization through its final stages of transition. Successfully navigated the visioning and execution of a 3-year transition plan that transferred a $7 million portfolio of museum collection and real estate assets to other sustainable institutions in Lancaster County; securing grant funding and identifying substantial donor support for their future development.

Managed the marketing and development division for one of Lancaster County’s largest and most respected hospitality companies. Responsibilities included rooms revenue management, renovation design, new business modeling, special event and marketing planning to achieve greater ROI for all corporate assets. Wendy served as liaison to the board for the formation of the Anabaptist Heritage Center, and provided marketing and development services to clients of their hospitality consulting division.

As CEO Wendy provided leadership for the organization’s 600 business members, 20-person governing board and 16 professional employees, while managing a $4 million operating budget and $2 million marketing strategy. Wendy was a member of Sight & Sound’s core leadership team, responsible for their marketing strategy. She served as the organization’s primary media spokesperson following a devastating fire that destroyed their flagship theater, and then designed the communications plan that launched the construction and opening of their new 2000-seat theatre venue.
