Overview - As a senior proposal consultant, my primary responsibilities included day-to-day writing and updating of the 4,000 plus pieces of content in the proposal database, Qvidian. I also maintained relation-ships with more than 40 subject matter experts across the enterprise. I began my career with BCBSTX writing and overseeing the project management of smaller, less complex proposals, and worked my way to writing and project managing some of the largest and most complex proposals the company bid on. Proposal (RFP)/Technical Writing/Editing – More than 10 years of proposal writing experience. Man-aged intake/workflow of proposals. Wrote technical responses for specific proposals with the help of subject manner experts both within and without of the company. Edited proposal responses for AP and inter-nal style from fellow proposal writers. Worked on small simple proposals to large, complex proposals that required a team of writers and subject matter experts across the company. Trained new proposal writers on proposal process and database (how to use it best practices and technical details).Proposal Database Management – Six years experience managing day-to-day proposal database in Qvidian. Total of 12 years of experience working with proposal databases in general. Managed keeping more than 4,000 pieces of content current (85% of the time) for proposal team. Oversaw the transition of the database from an in-house developed solution to the Qvidian system. Served as main point of contact for team members with issues related to content within the database and with the Qvidian system itself. At-tended Qvidian’s customer conference in April 2014. Attended many informational webinars and online courses Qvidian offered to advance my knowledge of the software. Qvidian was used primarily for the housing of proposal content, not proposal automation itself.
