Wendy is passionate about working with clients who are seeking support for growth opportunities or facing regulatory challenges. As the Business Development Director of the China Business Group (CBG) at PwC New Zealand, Wendy has been with the firm for 18 years, contributing to the Consulting, Deals, and CBG teams. Before joining PwC, she worked in the regulatory supervision team at the Commerce Commission New Zealand.In 2012, Wendy co-founded the CBG at PwC New Zealand with the founding PwC partner and helped establish and implement the CBG’s business development strategy, structure and processes. Since then, she has built trust and successfully assisted numerous Chinese businesses and high-net-worth individuals in entering and investing in New Zealand across various services and sectors. Wendy also advises New Zealand companies on establishing or expanding their operations in China.CBG is part of PwC’s global China Business network and Wendy has a good understanding of the business environment in both New Zealand and China. Wendy’s senior business development role requires engagement with all divisions across the firm and relevant teams in the PwC global network. She focuses on developing and maximizing China-related business opportunities and bringing integrated “one-stop shop” services to clients.Outside of work, Wendy enjoys hiking adventures and exploring beautiful new landscapes with family and friends.
