Responsible for marketing and brand management for the School of Public Leadership (SPL), which includes developing marketing material with design agencies; costing, implementing marketing strategies; developing digital media products; and organising and attending media related events which promote the SPL. Web development and populating/maintaining the SPL corporate website while compiling and publishing news articles and events on the site. Expanding the social media footprint of the SPL, through the use of social media platforms - Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Member of design team that developed the new corporate identity for the Centre for Local Governance (CLG). Member of the 2014 Winelands Conference organising committee and lead on the Winelands 2014 publication. Member of the 2016 Winelands Conference organising committee, responsible for marketing, branding and logistical arrangements. Developed and managing an online mentoring programme funded by FINLO for Honours’ students in Public and Development Management and is presented on SUNLearn. Member of the Bellville Park Campus ‘Collaboratory’ which is a knowledge management platform that engages the knowledge and skills of all 4 entities on campus (SPL,USB,USB-ED and IFR) to collectively work on cross-disciplinary projects. Responsible for all administrative, logistical and marketing associated with the Diploma in Public Accountability programme as presented by the School of Public Leadership at Stellenbosch University. Administrative and logistical support for the Municipal Minimum Competency (MMC) Programme and HonsBCom programme.

Member of the organising committee for the SPL conference on The National Development Plan, specifically responsible for logistical arrangements. Floor manager and administrative support to the Namibian Institute of Public Administration and Management (NIPAM) on their Senior Management Development Program. Administrative support to the Municipal Good Governance Project which is funded through the Hanns Seidel Stiftung. Providing academic assistance to second year “Good Governance” and Honours “Leadership and Change Management” students.

Stellenbosch, South Africa

Researcher for the Stellenbosch Infrastructure Task Team (SITT - the partnership between Stellenbosch University and Stellenbosch Municipality). Research included an investigation of the micro-organisational structure and its functional units, which was done through the use of field work and employee interviews. Prepared and submitted a comprehensive report on the findings to the Stellenbosch Rector/Mayor Forum.
